PROTEIN FOLDER: CHAPERONE CHALLENGE Game

🧬 Protein Folder: Chaperone Challenge
Act as a molecular chaperone! Read the biochemical fact or bonding scenario and instantly identify the correct level of protein folding.
🔵 Primary (1°): The linear sequence of amino acids. Stabilized exclusively by strong covalent Peptide Bonds. 🟡 Secondary (2°): Alpha-helices and Beta-sheets. Stabilized by Hydrogen Bonds between backbone atoms (not side chains). 🟢 Tertiary (3°): The 3D folded globule. Stabilized by R-group interactions (Hydrophobic, Disulfide bridges, Salt bridges, H-bonds). 🔴 Quaternary (4°): Assembly of multiple polypeptide subunits (e.g., Hemoglobin, Antibodies). 🚨 EXAM TRAP: Denaturation (via heat, urea, or extreme pH) destroys 2°, 3°, and 4° structures, but leaves the Primary (1°) structure completely intact!
